I’ve been teaching and tutoring math for 20+ years. Math makes me happy and helping others understand its beauty makes me even happier. If you’re prepping for a test and want to make sure your understanding is solid, I can make up problems on the spot and assess your readiness. If you’re homeschooling and struggling to explain the curriculum to your kid, we can all work together. If you’re stuck on a homework assignment and tired of staring at it, I can guide you in the right direction. I can’t do your homework for you, but I can help you decode complex topics, coach you through it, and save you from wasting time.

Unfortunately, my summer calendar is very full so I’ve disabled the online scheduling app. Occasionally there are cancellations, and I’ll have more availability once the school year starts, so please let me know what you’re looking for by filling out one of the forms linked here.

FAQ’s
Rates: a regular 50 minute tutoring session is $72, prorated according to the actual length of the session.
Consultations If you’d like to chat first and see if we’ll be a good fit, or learn how tutoring works on Zoom, please fill out the inquiry form linked above.
Booking/Payment: A credit card is required to reserve a tutoring session, but for the actual payment, I accept, credit card, cash, or Venmo. Please let me know your preference at the beginning of the session.
Cancellation Policy: $25 cancellation fee if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
Zoom I’ll email the zoom link within 24 hours of our scheduled session. Please save my contact info so my email doesn’t go to spam. me@meganlovesmath.com
In-Person Tutoring is available locally (Berkeley/East Bay) with an added travel fee of $20-$40 per session depending on distance.
